TravelsNooz acts as an authorized booking agent for World's Travel LLC (IATA License No. 14017953). In this role, we facilitate flight bookings and assist in processing cancellations and refund requests on behalf of our customers. It is important to understand that the ultimate authority over refund eligibility rests with the operating airline โ not with TravelsNooz or World's Travel LLC. The refundability of any ticket is determined by the fare class and conditions set by the carrier at the time of booking.
Our commitment is to advocate aggressively on your behalf โ pursuing every available refund path, documenting waiver requests properly, and tracking outstanding refunds until they are returned to you. We are not passive intermediaries; we are active advocates. This policy describes your rights and our process for each category of refund scenario so you understand exactly what to expect when you contact us for cancellation and refund assistance.
2. DOT 24-Hour Cancellation Rule

3. Refundable Ticket Refunds

There are no airline-imposed cancellation penalties on refundable fares, though availability of these fares is generally limited to higher-priced ticket categories.

Our agent will verify your fare conditions, confirm refund eligibility, process the cancellation with the airline, and submit the refund request. Once the airline approves the refund, it is returned to the original credit or debit card used at time of purchase. Processing times vary between 7 and 20 business days depending on the airline's internal processing cycle and your card issuer's posting schedule. We track every submitted refund and follow up with the airline if the stated timeline is exceeded.
4. Non-Refundable Tickets
Non-refundable tickets โ including most standard economy, basic economy, and discounted promotional fares โ do not qualify for a cash refund upon passenger-initiated cancellation outside the DOT 24-hour window. However, non-refundable does not always mean zero value. The following options may be available depending on the airline and circumstances:
- Travel Credit: Most major airlines convert the value of a cancelled non-refundable ticket into a travel credit redeemable for future flights on the same carrier. Credits typically have a validity period of 6 to 24 months from the original booking date, depending on the carrier. An airline cancellation fee may be deducted from the credit amount.
- Fee Waivers: Airlines may waive cancellation penalties for documented medical emergencies, bereavement, active military orders, or significant natural disasters. TravelsNooz agents handle the documentation submission process for waiver requests on your behalf.
- Airline-Initiated Cancellations: If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, federal law requires them to offer a full cash refund even on non-refundable tickets. We pursue this right aggressively and will not accept a voucher on your behalf without your explicit authorization.
- Credit Card Travel Protections: Some premium credit cards include trip cancellation insurance as a cardholder benefit. If you used such a card to purchase your ticket, your card issuer โ not the airline โ may provide reimbursement regardless of the airline's refund policy.
5. Agency Service Fees
TravelsNooz charges a service fee for booking assistance, modification processing, and cancellation handling. This fee is fully non-refundable in all circumstances. The service fee is earned at the time services are rendered โ our agents invest significant time and expertise in searching inventory, navigating airline systems, and managing your booking regardless of whether that booking ultimately concludes with travel, a change, or a cancellation.
The service fee is always disclosed to you verbally before any charge is made. You will never be surprised by an unexpected service fee on your statement. The fee is separate from the airline ticket price and is charged as a distinct line item. If a refund is processed for your airline ticket, the agency service fee component of your total payment will not be included in the refund amount. This policy is clearly disclosed at the time of booking and forms part of your agreement with TravelsNooz.

8. No-Show Policy
If you fail to check in for your flight and do not contact TravelsNooz or the airline before departure, your booking will be recorded as a "no-show." The consequences of a no-show vary significantly by airline and fare type. For most non-refundable tickets, a no-show results in complete forfeiture of the ticket value with no credit issued. For some fare classes, the airline may allow a credit minus a no-show penalty fee, but this is carrier-specific and not guaranteed.
If you know you cannot make your flight, contact us before your scheduled departure โ even at the last minute. Calling us before the flight departs preserves far more options than waiting until after. On some fares, proactive cancellation before departure triggers a credit option that a post-departure no-show eliminates entirely. Our agents are available during business hours and through our emergency line to assist with same-day cancellations โ never assume it's too late to call.
9. Travel Insurance Recommendation
TravelsNooz strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. While our agents work tirelessly to recover maximum value from any cancellation, the reality of airline fare rules means that certain ticket types โ particularly basic economy and heavily discounted fares โ may have very limited cancellation options that no agency can overcome.
A quality travel insurance policy typically covers: trip cancellation or interruption due to covered medical reasons, emergency medical evacuation, travel delay compensation, lost or delayed baggage reimbursement, and in some policies, "cancel for any reason" coverage that goes beyond airline policies entirely. When evaluating policies, look for coverage that is primary (pays first, before airline credits) and includes 24-hour emergency travel assistance. Travel insurance must generally be purchased within 14โ21 days of your initial trip deposit to qualify for pre-existing condition coverage โ don't delay.
